___________________________Convert to a standard 24 hour clock by adding the hours that have past between -midnight-(12:00PM) and your present 12hour clock time (the total is your local hundred hours time), then by refering to the chart above, find and add the chart-hours-difference-between-GREENWICH-time (GMT)-and-your-hundred-hours-time, the chart given number,---to your hundred hours time (this adjusts for the distance from Greenwich time to your time zone) ; lastly, subtract 1 if you are on daylight savings time; the result will = the Standard (GMT) time as read on the clock above.
For the GMT standard DATE, refering to the chart above, if GMT time is ahead of you and beyond 12:00PM midnight then add one day to your date shown above but if it is behind you, beyond midnight, subtract a day.
If my chart doesn't help, this is a great site to help you find your time zone difference or distance from GMT(Greenwich, Eng. mean time), CNN.com - World Time . There is a world map there which you can utilize to see your location and the number difference or distance to GMT(reverse the sign if coming back to use my method).
At this other great site, Java World Clock v. 3.2 , just click (in the upper right hand corner of the chart there) the time zone difference or distance you determined(reverse the sign if using a figure from my chart). This sets the clock chart allowing you to see the correct clock time where friends are located, anywhere in the world.
